Hi, I’m Natalie Porter—a Nashville-based interior design consultant and home furniture specialist with over 14 years of experience helping families find the right pieces for their homes. I’ve personally tested and reviewed hundreds of sofas, mattresses, dining tables, storage solutions, and decorative accents, from budget-friendly finds to high-end investment pieces.
Before launching Room Setters, I spent eight years as a residential interior designer working with clients across Tennessee and the Southeast. That hands-on experience taught me exactly what makes furniture last—and what’s just clever marketing. I hold a B.S. in Interior Architecture from Belmont University and a CAPS (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist) credential from the NAHB, which gives me particular insight into furniture that works for multi-generational homes.
